Hebern: 4th Problem

Washington                                May 10, 1924

Dear Laurence,

The next challenge is not very hard.

You don't know the rotor wiring. On the other
hand, you know the plaintext of an encrypted
message. You need to find the plain of a second
message.

But unlike the previous problem, the cabling on
the keyboard side does not correspond to the
identity permutation. Conversely the Lampboard
correspond to identity permutation.

Good luck !
