SZ40 cipher machine challenge

Crypto Homepage --> Cipher Machines Challenge

The Lorenz SZ40 is a cipher machine used by the German Army during World War II. It was built by Lorenz company. In fact, the SZ40 isn't a true cipher machine but an cipher attachment to a teleprinter. As the T52, it uses the Baudot code to transmit cipher or plain text. The British cryptnalysts named it Tunny and were able to decrypt its traffic by means of Colossus, the first electronic computer.
